Pyroceram glass that Corningware originally used? Erm, no. Just Chinese stoneware made to look like the original but without the original's thermal shock quality. Should've known better so the eight I ordered went straight to the thrift store as it never occurred to me to examine the bottom of the pieces, the original packaging being long gone - not worth the effort or cost to return. We have nearly the entire set of CorningWare French White baking dishes and they are fantastic! They go from fridge to oven to dishwasher, no problem. However, depending on what you're serving, you might want the 7 oz, too. The 4 oz isn't quite big enough for custard, better for dipping sauces.
