I own this and many others, and they are the best! I am trying to cut down my use of plastics because of the problems with leeching, especially when heating. These come with vent lids, which I don't use in the microwave. One day I am sure the lids will need to be replaced, but the dish will be usable up until the day I drop it or something. This is the second corningware oval dish I ordered from amazon..
One was the smaller size,they both said they had the vented and the glass cover...both only came with the vented cover.
Also for what it's worth: this is made in China it is Corningware by World Kitchen,USA

I love this little oval dish, it looks good, nice for serving veggies, warms food in microwave, fits in my broiler oven, just so handy to have, Cleans up so easy, Nice for a small family, I use this dish several times a week and it still looks new.I will be buying more.Customer Review: Great for On the Go

Great size for like a homemade chicken stir fry to heat and eat at work.
I especially like the air vent cover.
What a great way to keep the plastics out of the microwave and out of my body! :-)
