I bought two of these sets to replace a service of 12 Pfaltzgraff ironstone dinnerware. I was tired of the heavy dishes in and out of the dishwasher and cupboards. Love the light weight and all the room I now have in my cupboards. A nice timeless design and color goes with most any linens and flatware. You can dress them up or down. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I find that the mugs tend to stain if not rinsed out immediately. If you don't they come out of the dishwasher with dark rings still in the cup. My husband bought two sets of these the other day and I love them! With kids and ceramic tile, I've been stuck with melamine for more than 10 years. These are simple and classy and have a great mug. The color is beautiful and will go with any tablecloth or silverware I decide to put with it. The color may be the inspiration for new tile on the countertop. I've already bid on and won the serving platter and serving bowls. I'm waiting to see if I win 8 pasta/salad bowls and am considering bidding on a creamer and sugar and a butter dish. Corelle Livingware has earned this name over the years. I remember growing up with my mother singing it's praise and her not even batting an eye when I drop a peice while learning to wash dishes! It literally bounced on the floor and the one time I did manage to break one, it was so easy to replace. Mom still has and uses her first set and someday she will leave it for me. That's why I chose the 'Sandstone' set it will complment her set nicely when they are combined! We both use our 'Corelle Livingware' for everyday use and it is also very nice for entertaining!Customer Review: Excellent product, excellent price!

I ordered three sets of the Sandstone dinnerware when Amazon.com had them on sale for less than $18 per set. Bargain of the YEAR! They arrived well packaged and intact, and very quickly as well. Love the color and the weight of these dishes. It's been years since I've had Corelle and I am so glad I finally went back to using these dishes after dealing with heavy stoneware for a long time. I love my 2- 16 piece set of Sandstone dinnerware, now all I need to complete the sets are a Serving platter, salt& pepper shakers and cream and sugar bowls. It arrived when promised and the pieces are light weight and very durable. I am very pleased with everything.
If you do have these extra pieces please let me know so I can order them, but when I check it out I have never been able to find them, I do so want to complete the set. PLEASE HELP ME FIND THESE PIECES>> Thank You, Mrs.Tapie
