Customer Review: Great size, too bad it isn't stock in the Livingware set!

I ordered 8 of these plates to complement the Livingware sets I purchased. They are a better size than the enormous dinner-size plates that come with the set. Also, they are easier to handle. As a 40 yo woman who has had rhuematoid arthritis for 30 yrs, I need lightweight dishes. For years oreviously, I used incredibly heavy stoneware b/c of my affection for fashionable housewares, but now I could not be happier I switched to dishes I can actually lift. If you are on the fence about fashion vs. function, I recommend jumping over to the side of function. These dishes, with their innocuous beige, make the loss of hipper stoneware a little less painful!
