Corelle in general is a great value. It's economical, looks great, easy to clean, very resistant to wear and breakage, keeps its appearance for years and years. Also, as a glass-based product, it does not have a scratchy unglazed ring on the bottom, like you find with stoneware. This won't scratch anything.
As for this particular item, the bowls have a very versatile size and shape. It can be used as a serving bowl for a main dish or as a snack bowl for chips and popcorn. The shape makes it easy to grasp and pass around.
I love the color. (Sandstone being a light beige.) It's a nice attractive neutral tone that goes with pretty much anything you already have. It will never go out of style.
Highly recommended.
