Customer Review: Love these dishes

I wanted something fresh for summer and durable enough to use on the patio. Love this pattern and its mix and match plates. We have had them for 2 years now and there are no chips or scratches on them. They even make the food look better! Also love that they are light weight and take up less room in the dishwasher. Yes the bowls are shallow as many have said but I use them for soup and salads. Also I found that the deeper Corelle Livingware Country Cottage bowls, which are available separately, are a great addition to this set. Their blue and green lines match perfectly and they come in several sizes including serving bowls, cereal bowls and a smaller size perfect for prepping.
One caution, if you are sensitive to grit, the small plates do feel gritty. However the textured color of the gritty area is so pretty it makes this set look much more expensive.
Best to get several sets of this so you don't run out before your dishwasher is full enough to run. :-) I hate to put these away at end of summer, they certainly could be used year round, but my husband prefers hunky dishes so I compromise for him.
