After much shopping for a new service for 8, I skeptically chose a set of these in Chili and Turmeric after reading all the glowing reviews.
They are indeed worth the money. You can buy 2 sets for $70 to $80 dollars. The colors are beautiful but they are as described spice tones. Dont expect the vibrant red you see in the picture. It is indeed chili and the others have the same spice tones. That being said, they look great with the matte black contrast. They are also heavier than reg corelle but not as heavy as other stoneware. They are in the middle of both. I like this b/c I feel reg corelle has a disposable plate feel and is ok for daily use but I would not want to use it with company. Regular stoneware is too heavy for regular daily use. These are the perfect answer. So far I am quite happy and love the one year chip guarantee.
