If I have to get beer from the store I usually enjoy certain Sam Adams flavors, Guiness is good to. After trying this, I now dislike most store bought beers. I have not tried too many beers and Ive never had a real homebrew.
That said, I really like this beer and kit. I dont have alot of space or the time and money to be making my own recipes and doing the whole process so this thing is perfect.
I just wanted to give it another 5 star rating because I'm happy with it. Simple to use, quick as far as homebrewing goes and comes with everything you need.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband.Three weeks later we have thirty bottles of beer lined up waiting for it to be time to try them.The instructions were clear and easy to understand.Everything you need is in the box.We used the plastic bottles that came with the kit,but next time we might spring for some glass bottles.I don't think it will change the taste or quality of the beer,but glass bottles are just more aesthetically pleasing.This is a good starter kit for beginners like us.Customer Review: Great starter kit!

I am so glad we purchased this kit. It's a great way to get into brewing your own beers at home. The "hopped" extract included is okay and is good to use for your first attempt at making beer but what's great is the incredibly large fermenting jug this thing comes with. We now go to our local beer brewing store for our own hops, grains, etc. We're now making our own beer from scratch and still use the fermenting jug in this kit. This kit is worth it for the fermenting jug alone.Customer Review: Amazingly good beer is easy to make!

My beer friend warned me that my first batch of home brew would probably taste like garbage water. My friend was completely wrong!
This Coopers home brew kit was extremely easy to make 6 gallons of amazingly good tasting beer. The beer ferments at room temp (69 to 80 degrees F). It is ready to drink after about 4 weeks (1 week in the fermenter tank, 3 weeks minimum in the bottles).

I had been thinking about brewing beer for years. I finally decided to get this kit after trying a Coopers beer that was brewed by a friend. This was a great introduction to brewing. This kit has everything you need to brew great beer and the process is simple. The initial mixing took about one hour, then a week later I filled the bottles in less than a hour. The beer is great and I will be brewing some of the other Coopers beers soon.
