Customer Review: Doesn't fit any standard cup holder, top does not fit snugly

For some reason, hot beverages seem to take on a different taste when served in stainless steel. This has been a constant objection to insulated cups in our house. This cup has the advantage of a complete ceramic inside and rim, even though the top is plastic; the ceramic rim seems to add a lot to keeping the beverage tasting fresh. The cup also seems to work adequately, if not spectacularly, for keeping beverages the desired temperature (usually hot but not always.) However, sadly, it seems to fit no standard cup holder and that's a major drawback!!! Also, the top does not fit spectacularly snugly; if you dropped the cup, for instance, or held it sideways, you'd be wearing your beverage. I am keeping it, but it's not the cup of first choice because the drawbacks outweigh the benefits for most applications.
