Customer Review: Not as sturdy and well made as I anticipated

This item was purchased as a replacement for a very worn bamboo steamer. The inside seaming was not of the highest quality; however, did not want to be bothered with the return & waiting for a new replacement, so my husband rigged copper wiring in order to secure the inner lining so that the slats wouldn't fall out after the first use. This is definitely an item I would not have purchased had I been able to actually visually inspect the quality beforehand.
