I am old fashion, I still keep my recipes on recipe cards instead of on a computer. I looked at many recipe file boxes before deciding on this one. I like that it accommodates both 3X5 and 4X6 cards. I had to purchase the index cards separately which was the only draw back. It is a large well made box. It replaced two smaller boxes that were falling apart after only a couple of years of use. So even though it is large it doesn't take up more counter space. The construction is better than any other boxes I looked at.
