Sure, there's something nice about an old, warn cookbook with sauce splattered pages - but there's something nicer about recipes you can read! I have enough pages with red wine and tomato sauce memories on them, thank you very much!
This holder is easy on books- it doesn't hurt the spine of the book you place in it. The plexi-glass face is easy to clean with a simple wipe down. The frame is attractive enough that it lives on our kitchen island.

After researching all other cookbook stands and reading the reviews, this seemed to be the best one. I wanted a sturdy cookbook stand for my nicer hardbound cookbooks and this seems to do the trick. Love how you can adjust the distance between the book and the acrylic panel and the fact that it folds flat for easy storage. Thanks to all the other folks who left their reviews on this cookbook holder. I have to say, it really is excellent, everything that everyone said is true. It's very smart yet simple design and it folds up real easy. Plus of course it does what it's supposed to do: Hold cookbooks (and very well)! I would highly recommend. I'm the best husband ever after getting this for my aspiring chef. My wife loves to cook and she typically had cook books all over the counters taking away her prep space. This holder gives her back her much needed space, it set's up easily, holds any size/style of bound book or magazine and folds up pretty slim for storage when not in use. I'm thinking about getting her another one for when she's doing two recipes at once.Customer Review: Terrific item
