Bought this a few weeks ago and it has already paid off. My wife and I can really tell the difference on how easy this has made our time cooking in the kitchen. We have a small kitchen where every inch counts and having this holder not only makes cooking much easier, we do not have to worry about anything getting on or splashing onto our cookbooks or recipes (it holds a piece if paper up really easy as well)! We have it set up right on top of our microwave and that saves us a ton of room as well as makes even the microwave look decorative. There is a reason why this cookbook stand has so many great reviews. It is an excellent product.
It holds anything from a single sheet of paper to a large cookbook since it is easily adjustable to any size. It's easy to flip pages with the flip down acrylic front that protects your books from food splatter. The cookbooks are steady in the holder. And althought it is large, it really doesn't take up much counter space with it's great design.
No need to keep searching for the best cookbook stand because this is it. Well worth the money.

Gave this as a gift to my wife for her birthday. She had kept asking for something to hold up her cookbooks so I looked around and found few that would do the job right. I choose this one based on ther eviews and size of plastic. It was delivered on quickly and with no indication of what was inside(points for that).
Clear plastic is thick so as not to flex, easly to clean, easy to adjust, dosnt fall down when bumped, fits the bigest or thickest of books. Stores easily above fridge or in a cuboard.

I love this cook book holder. It adjust to fit any size book. I keep it on my kitchen counter displaying the cook book I'll be using that day.
For any one out there that enjoys cooking you will appreciate the quality of the product and the convenience it offers, the plexi glass protects your precious books from any splatters and it's so easy to clean just wipe off with damp cloth. There are many choices out there but this one is worth the $. I would make this purchase all over again.

I remember seeing one of these with a hardwood base and thought that was what I was purchasing. Alas, no. While the plastic cover and backrest for the cookbooks are the same, the base on this one is a light-weight raw wood with an ugly orangish stain. There is no finish so if you spill something on it, it will likely stain the wood and be difficult to clean. It does hold my largest cookbooks with no problem, but it is too expensive for not being finished very well.
