Customer Review: Like a Toy, Get a French Press, works much better for tea!

Yeah so I got this and its a piece of junk. It probably costs them about $3.00 to make these in China and then they sell them for $40, crazy. It's more like a decorative piece than a functional teapot. The bamboo board and scoop things are a joke, slippery as hell so you don't really want to set anything on the bamboo thing. The scoop is pointless, just use a spoon.
If you want something 10 times more useful and less expensive just get a French press, it functions much better and can hold more liquid. This thing is tiny. Really, you can get a nice french press for $20 on here. Works waaaay better and you can make coffee or tea with it.

This is a really nice teapot and pours without dripping which is GREAT. The spout is thin though so I do worry that it'll chip or break and therefore I fashioned a foam cover to put over it when in the cupboard. The tea infuser is near solid on the bottom (3 small holes) this does make it much more difficult to clean than if it was mesh and the water could come through from the bottom when under a tap. Still it's a great pot and we use it every day - I would buy it again.Customer Review: Terrific Teapot!!!!

Absolutely wonderful teapot, does not disappoint at all. Very high quality infuser doesn't let any tea leaves through. The stainless steel top stays on without a problem when pouring and fits perfectly. Washing the inside and spout is done rather easily with a wash cloth, a little tight but nowhere near impossible to reach.
Overall, I couldn't be happier!! This teapot just helped my life get a little bit better with all the delicious tea I can brew now :)

I gave this to an elderly friend of mine that is having memory problems. Now, she can look across the room to remind herself whether she made the tea and whether she needs to make more. This is one awesome teapot! I have one and I gave one to my dad for his birthday. The little spoon comes in handy to measure how much tea you want to brew. You can see when the tea is brewed to your taste thanks to the glass! Easy to clean. I recommend.
