Customer Review: Beautiful, but very oval

I received this platter as a wedding gift. It feels very solid, though there are some imperfections (small bumps of paint) in the finish. Also, based on the picture, I imagined it to be more round. I guess if I had looked at the product dimensions more carefully I would have realized it's quite oval... the shape is nothing like how it looks the picture! I guess it was just taken at a weird angle. I submitted a picture with a top view to show more of the true shape.
