Customer Review: Great cookware for a ceramic cooktop

Here is some background on our purchase. We recently purchased a long desired ceramic cooktop. It looked fantastic but, per the instructions, you need "perfectly flat" bottoms on your cookware. Our then current pots and pans (Meyer Analon non-stick -- about 12 yeas old) did not pass the ruler test and exhibited a very visible upward warp in the center of most of the cookware. Thus, we needed to retire them and purchase a new set. We chose ***** as our store due to their good selection, and helpful sales associates. We were happy with the selection and a bit surprised at the price range. So our saga began. We set a max price of 200 dollars thinking that that should easily cover our needs. We were wrong.
After trying and being disappointed with three other sets which will remain unnamed in this review, we finally purchased the Circulon Infinite 10 piece set. It cost more than we had planned to spend. However, this set contains the heaviest pieces of anything we tried (due to the stainless steel bottom). It will work on ALL cooktops (so we are induction-ready should we decide to upgrade in the future). We were beginning to regret the purchase of the ceramic cooktop but this cookware has made it much more enjoyable. They look good, cook well, and clean up easy. They are dishwasher safe (but I doubt ours will ever go into our dishwasher since they clean up so easily and we have never put our pots into the dishwasher). Also, of everything we have tried, they worked the best on our ceramic stove. Thank you Circulon.
Now some people complain about the expense of this set. Well, consider this. At the usually available $299 or less assuming a 10 year life, that comes to about 30 dollars per year (~3 dollars per piece - cheaper than a disposable roasting pan!). How is this expensive for such amazing quality? Also, with a lifetime warranty, the pieces should last even longer than 10 years. We actually caught a sale at *****, were able to add a coupon of 25% off and received two bonus pieces. Our cost per year and per piece is significantly less. I fail to see how that is expensive and just wish I had used this reasoning at the beginning of our shopping "adventure".
Once again - thank you Circulon and thank you *****. Here is hoping for many years of happy cooking and clean-up with this amazing cookware.
