Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Circulon 5.5-Quart Nonstick Dutch OvenCustomer Review: Not worth the money Summary: 2 Stars
I got this to replace a soup pot that i had for years. this one seemed to look like the one i was replacing and the price was right. I have only had it a month or so and the nonstick coating is already coming off the inside bottom of the pot. Also, it is so lightweight that there is no way it is heating evenly. I do not recommend this product.
Customer Review: Great Buy Summary: 5 Stars
I received this pot and was originally disappointed by it's weight. It is light and so I figured that it was probably going to not work very well. In fact it is lightweight but works as well as my heavier Calphalon pans. It is deep and holds quite a bit. I have used it for a variety of dishes and it has worked well on all.
Customer Review: Great Stew Pot Summary: 5 Stars
I've only had this pot for a month or so, and it's a great size for making stews, soups and pastas. We are a family of 2 and the size is great for a double batch. The non stick feature is also a definite plus for stews. I would definitely recomend this pot for the smaller families who like to simmer their meals.
Customer Review: Great multi-purpose pan Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this pan on the off-chance that I might need it for pot-roast since it is oven-proof to 450 or 500 degrees but it has many uses besides this: soups, stews, chili. Clean-up is a snap. Have had no problems with food sticking. It heats evenly. I would highly recommend it.
Customer Review: A Perfect Pot for Oven or Range Summary: 5 Stars
This pot is great for cooking pasta, stew, popcorn, soup, or anything which requires sautéeing, braising, or boiling. The buffet handles are oven-proof, and the elegant lid makes it a lovely addition to a buffet. I'm planning on acquiring a second one of these.
