Customer Review: Amazon Bytes - No it really does

It's been a while since I ordered from Amazon - And with this order I remembered why. I order several thousands of dollars a year in merchandise over the internet - and by far there is little to no customer service from Amazon - They are truly well named - Amazon - as in primitive. The gravy boat I ordered arrived chipped. Sent it back according to online instructions. Never heard from Amazon - they insisted they sent an email - No matter got a refund - but what's this they kept half the cost of the item!! Called them finally got a real person - Amazon makes it very difficult for customers to speak to a live person have you noticed? Anyway, someone with a strong accent (A for effort though) tries to explain that the reason for 1/2 refund was that I kept half the order(ie the plate) Say What!! Hell I did. What a mess - I am on hold now - (so far 10 minutes and ticking away - OOPS they just disconnected me after 10 minutes - Ask me IF I'm surprised) to speak to a supervisor - I will continue spending money on the internet - just not with Amazon - I am realizing jungles scare me - Buyer BEWARE!
