Brook Pink dinnerware is produced by utilising the centuries old art of transfer printing from original engravings which bring to life the scenes of an English rural countryside. The Cottages, Churches, Brooks & landscapes are long forgotten in this modern world however they do still exist & we at Churchill try to bring the best out in these scenes by reproducing our ceramics the way our forefathers did in the 18th Century. Each Piece is processed and handled at least 50 times before it is finally made ready for our customers. This vintage feel is applied to the Salt & Pepper Set. Manufactured in fine English Earthenware, Brook Pink Dinnerware products are both Microwave & Dishwasher safe. This collection is endorsed by Churchill China with its 200 years of history in the manufacture of dinnerware for the home.Brook Pink dinnerware from Churchill China authentically displays the vintage look of old English transfer ware. A process that dates back to the 1700s, transfer printing applies original engravings onto china pieces, resulting in beautifully detailed scenes. This set of Brook Pink salt and pepper shakers depicts in deep reddish-pink a thatched-roof cottage set amid the lush English countryside. Identical except for the number of holes in the top, each footed shaker is formed with twisted fluting for subtle texture. Brook is also available in blue.
