I searched long and hard locally for a nice, large, pizza pan and had no luck. It seems all the stores, even the big kitchen stores only sell the thin pans with the perforated bottom. As I wanted to try out some true deep dish pizzas, these wouldn't do. I came across this one and it looked perfect so I decided to give it a shot.
This pan is built very well. It is not at all flimsy and can hold heavy deep dish doughs with confidence. My deep dish pies could nicely and evenly in this pan and I have had great results with this pan. I thought that I may have needed a thicker, darker pan to make a good deep dish pizza, however this is not the case. This pan works perfectly. Any problems I have had with making pizzas in this are a result of the pizza chef screwing up - however at least the rest of my family is of the mindset that there is no such thing as a bad pizza, so I'm off the hook :)
Great pan and highly recommended for the home pizza maker!
