I really prefer an electric knife for cutting a loaf of bread. But when I make French bread I cut the loaf length wise and this knife does a great job of it. For this 10 inch quality bread knife the price is great.Customer Review: Good, but

It's sharp and long. Good knife but the bevel is only on one side (why do they do that?) which makes it have a tendancy to not cut straight down. I bought a bread slicing guide as well which reduces that tendancy.Customer Review: Fantastic
