Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Chicago Cutlery Insignia Kitchen Shears, BlackCustomer Review: Good for what it is. Summary: 5 Stars
If you're looking for top of the line, look elsewhere. But for a good, cheap, reliable pair of shears that work well. These are great. They have more function than many higher priced shears. No, they probably won't last a lifetime, but at $7.00 how could you expect them to.
Customer Review: Super Sharp Summary: 5 Stars
They're scissors - they cut, they're sharp and you can take them apart for cleaning. It can be a bit awkward getting used to avoiding the screwdriver, etc on the ends of the handles - but that's not a legitimate complaint. Definitely worth the less than $10 I paid for it.
Customer Review: Great scissors Summary: 5 Stars
These scissors are sturdy and sharp. The blades snap apart for easy cleaning and sharpening.
The nubs at the end can be a bit of a surprise (who'd expect that there?) so I could do without these but they don't hurt the product.
5 stars.
Customer Review: kitchen shears Summary: 5 Stars
absolutely great. best value for the money . recommend without reservation. but suggest hand wash as on my first set the plastic handles cracked after a year or two probably from the heat of the dishwasher. even so at this price worth replacing every two years
Customer Review: Scissors went well with the Metropolitan knifes that I also purchased. Summary: 5 Stars
I purchased this pair of scissors to go with the Chicago Cutlery Metropolitan 10-Piece Block Set. This set did not come with the scissors. I have been very please with the scissors performance and with the way they match the metropolitan collection.
