You Just Gotta Have A Pair OF These!!!
This is my second pair of these scissors. The first pair was never returned after lending them to friends. They were missed very much in our household. They are very sharp and are very versatile around the home. Also work great in the garden for trimming Hosta and roses.
The price is great too. Seen in outlet stores for $10.00.
This would be a great gift for all the women on your shopping list. Also would be great for the handyman.
Have never used the bottle opener or the other tool very much.

I requested and received these scissors as a gift a couple of years ago. I have been very pleased with them. They are still incredibly sharp. When I use them on messy things (raw poultry), I just take them apart and wash them.
They also come in handy opening shipping boxes. I use the bottle opener at the handle-end of the scissors, and it easily slices through packaging tape to open a box.
Very pleased with these scissors and would recommend them to anyone.

Chicago Cutlery Insignia Kitchen Scissors looked great but had multiple problems. While meant to help with thorough cleaning, the hinge did not function well causing them to easily separate into two pieces. A couple of trips to the dishwasher resulted in early signs of rusting.
While a nice idea the openers at the bottom were more in the way than functional.
After using them a few times I donated them to a charity hoping another would find them more useful.

What I like:
1. comes apart for easier cleaning

What I don't like:
Mine is less than a year old and has rust spots on the blades. Now this may be my fault for putting it in the dishwasher... but I don't think it should rust, should it?
Over all I like them because it wasn't like they were that expensive, and for what I use mine for a little rust is no big deal.

I was looking for a good, solid pair of scissors for use in the kitchen. These are awkward, especially with the bottle opener and screwdriver tips poking out of the handles. They interfere with comfortable, ordinary cutting. Also, the blades do come apart for cleaning, but too easily. If you open the scissors in the wrong way, they fall apart in your hands. I don't recommend these.
