I own a set of these, and I've been very pleased with how they've performed. I've had the knives for a few years with no problems. They match my more expensive cooking knives (forged blade, black composite riveted handle) and they've managed to hold their edge quite well. I treat them like my better knives though, which means no dishwasher and an occasional run on the steel. I really enjoy having a non-serrated edge that cuts well, and doesn't tear at the meat. The handle is slightly undersized and I wish they came in a set of 6, but considering the price, this is an excellent set of knives.
