My wife started using parchment paper for the baking of cakes and cookies following the suggestion of Martha Stewart. The results were excellent! Not too long thereafter, she discovered that there was also available similar non-stick baking cups for cupcakes and muffins. They're hard to find in stores, but buying on-line presented no problems.
These non-stick baking cups are marvelous. She's baked many batches of cupcakes and this morning she made up a delicious batch of cornbread muffins. The cup liners require no oil or spray. You just put the cup in the baking tray and fill with the necessary ingredient. After baking, none of the cups were stuck to the tray. The muffins are easily extracted from the paper cups with no sticking. Excellent! It's so easy! Our only gripe would be that they are too costly, but we're not about to go back to the old products. They're well worth the extra cost.
