I bought this grapefruiter because I have a 6 year old as well as a grandmother in the nursing home who both love grapefruit. They both need help sectioning it so I have always been on the look out for something to make this process easier and this is it. It only took me one try or two to find the perfect position to get the whole section of fruit out. It is a snap! I am buying another one as a gift.Customer Review: Super Time Saver!

We love grapefruit but did not enjoy the task of sectioning them, until now!
The Chef'n Grapefruit/Citrus Sectioning Tool makes short work (about 1/4 the time) of sectioning grapefruit and oranges. It also works with lemons and limes with a little more attention to detail.
We are VERY pleased with the Chef'n product and will definitely by lifelong customers.

Chef'n GF-352 Grapefruiter Citrus Sectioning Tool
As someone who sections well over 100 grapefruit a year to freeze for home use, this tool is a godsend. It takes some doing to learn and you do get some pith, but all in all it is wonderful and easy to use.

I'm very disappointed in the actual performance of this product, especially after reading so many positive reviews. I find it wastes a lot of grapefruit, it doesn't cut well so it takes too much work to get out a single piece, and it makes quite a juicy mess. Bummer! I'm going back to peeling and sectioning by hand since it's faster and I get more fruit.Customer Review: Pretty good gadget

The only flaws are that it can only cut the sections the same size no matter if you are cutting a small or large grapefruit. It's also very sharp and the blade cover doesn't stay on real well. So, put it somewhere that you know your kids won't accidentally come across it. Other that that it works pretty good.
