Customer Review: How the hell does the Orka slicer have better ratings than this tool?

I have the orka grapefruit cutter and purchased it instead of this tool because people rated it higher. So I have them both and hands down this is the better slicer. The Orka is WORK to use. You need a good amount of strength to turn the grapefruit on the blade and in the morning I don't even have the strength to squeeze out toothpaste let alone use the orka to slice my grapefruit. Looking for a better solution I tried this gadget. Finally something that works and isn't a waste of money. This tool is a little sensitive to the size of the grapefruit you're cutting but a lot less so than the orka. And the more you use this tool the better you get at cutting your grapefruit. Some people have complained that this tool wastes grapefruit. Sometimes it only gets 95% of the grapefruit especially when you first start using it. But for me this doesn't matter because before I went looking for a grapefruit slicer I avoided eating grapefruit just to avoid the hassle of cutting out the wedges of fruit. The orka slicer still made it a hassle,not to mention the orka also has 3 seperate pieces to clean and put together for use. This slicer is only one piece. Nothing to assemble or dissemble to clean. Easy peazy. Since I got this tool It's no longer a hassle to eat grapefruit so now I eat a grapefruit every morning! So this tool has helped me add more healthy fruit to my diet. If anyone wants my orka you can have it!
