Customer Review: Toast for Two and so Much More

This oven replaces a seven y/o earlier Cuisinart model. The new one is basically the same model BUT 2 inches deeper. Those two inches make a big difference. We are empty nesters, and basically "live" in this counter top version of a standard oven. For two people, it's perfect ... baked potatoes (with crispy skin ... not possible in a microwave), frozen "square" pizza fits perfectly, etc. Don't be afraid to use the convection feature for everything; it's faster and crisps beautifully (frozen French fries!). The first time you try it, drop the recommended temp 25 degrees, and take 20% off the recommended time, then have a peek. I burned-up a few things in the previous oven. Covection takes a little tweeking of time and temperature, but the results are worth it. And buy the oven liner. It's awesome, as the kids say. Chef's Planet 401 Nonstick Toaster Oven Liner
