These are the worst strainers I've ever seen. The plastic frame is flimsy, and the mesh is worse. It doesn't hold it's shape. The threads of plastic do not stay in place so large gaps will open up in the mesh. It might be suitable to strain liquid, but don't imagine you'll be able to use it to strain pudding, fruit sauce, etc where you push the food through the mesh. It won't hold to a consistent size.
