The Chef Cookie Jar is a well made and well painted ceramic piece. The top of the chef's hat serves as an easy handle for a 6 year old child to grab onto and the lid of the jar (beginning at the shoulders) seals with a soft, silicone ring (so it's quiet when you sneak a cookie and replace the top)! It is a good buy. Other "motif" jars can easily cost more and a "chef" should look right at home in any kitchen.Customer Review: Adorable cookie jar

The fat chef cookie jar is everything I hoped it would be! It has a very roomy belly, and it's also very sturdy. I bought it for my mom as a Christmas present since the theme to her kitchen is black/white checkerboard, along with the chef, and she was more than pleased! It did not disappoint any of us!
