I have hard boiled, pouched and soft boiled without a problem, no water leaked out and it performed as expected. The only issue is the adjustable timer, it only rings, but doesn't shut the unit off, so you have to pay attention.Customer Review: If you like eggs, you'll love this cooker

I've used this cooker for hard cooked and poached eggs - both turned out perfectly. If there was anything to change about this cooker, it would be nice if it stacked better for storage, but that is a very minor criticism.Customer Review: So Far So Good

I use this about once a week for poached eggs - and so far so good. No issues. I just have to remember to use my gloved and pull off the top very clowly so the steam doesn't escape all at once :) A great tool!

Badly conceptualized and badly designed. There is no auto-off. Poached eggs are cooked unevenly. Difficult to figure out settings.
I would have returned this if I had not tossed out the poached insert.

This products is wonderful. Temp variation is so handy you can make soft, hard or in between. Easy to set sliding temp control and nice tray insode to hold eggs. Cleans very easy. Love it!
