My family has purchased two of these dishes and both of them have cracked during normal use (baking and washing.) I emailed the company to complain, but they have never responded.

Chantal Ceramic Bakeware is beautiful with a high gloss glaze and rich vibrant colors and functional with thick walls and bottom for superior heat retention and uniform baking.Measuring 13 by 9 by 2 inches and able to hold 3-1/4 quarts, this uncovered rectangular baker is sized for baking hearty dinners, such as lasagna or stuffed manicotti, or sweet desserts, such as crisp shortbread, fruit cobblers, or sheet cakes. Made of high-quality stoneware, this baker is just as attractive for serving as it is durable for baking, and the wide, 1-inch handles at either end make lifting and carrying from the oven easier.
