I bought this teapot recently and have been very pleased with it. It's sturdy, seems well-built, and has an elegant, classic teapot design. My only criticisms are that it was somewhat smaller than expected and the color is NOT what is shown in the picture. If you're a serious tea-drinker this pot may be too small (holds about two mugs full). The color is not a shiny, deep, bluish-purple as shown in the picture, but is regular purple with a matte (non-glossy) finish.
Otherwise, i think it's a great buy for the money. It's microwave safe; I pop it right in filled with water. Stays warm for a long time!

This little Teapot has a feel of 'silk' to it. The finish is so smooth and it is just a wonderful little product. I hand paint many china, porcelain and glass items, and this teapot sells every time. If you would like to see one hand painted I have some examples on my website at www.justjillys.com. I paid $15 each for mine, so this is a steal at this reduced price. Perfect little tea pot. Just for two ! If you want to do tea correctly (so I have been told) you should let it steep in a tea pot like this for a few minutes & then enjoy. They were right !!!
