I bought this as a gift for a tea-lover, along with a few other tea-accessories. She loved it. It has a classic look. It's not gaudily painted like something you'd find at Starbucks. It gets the job done. The semi-gloss finish gives it a sort of home-made feel which contrasts the robotic perfection of the curves. It looks equally at home in both modern and rustic kitchen .

Chantal's Tea-For-One makes the perfect cup of tea whether treating a friend to a relaxing cup or indulging in a cup yourself. Brew tea in the 13-ounce top and serve in the matching bottom cup. All Chantal ceramic have a non-porous glaze that won't react with flavors. Dishwasher safe, led and cadmium-free. Not recommended for stovetop use.A cute and clever design, this two-in-one set from Chantal is a tea party for one. Crafted from durable stoneware, the set features a teapot resting on a generous mug. Simply brew tea on top, then lift off the pot and pour yourself some fresh tea. The materials are designed for superior heat retention, and the thick glaze is free of lead and cadmium. Chantal even hand-sands the underside of each piece so it doesn?t scratch your table or countertop. Keep in mind that the teapot does not include a strainer--it is intended for use with bagged tea or a separate straining basket. Both cup and pot hold 13 ounces and are safe in the dishwasher.
