Customer Review: I love this thing, had it for 20 years

I bought one of these in 1989, and it's taken the most incredible abuse from me without complaint since. I use it for a chopping board, meat board, bread board, and hot pad. I stick it in the dishwasher. And it's just fine. Ok, after 20 or so years, the plastic coating on the handles where the handles meet the board is starting to peel away a little bit (and I stress that's my fault!) but the handles are still in solid.
I love the handles and the over-the-sink function. I put it over the sink when chopping vegetables and sweep the waste right into the garbage disposal. I take hot things -- pans, bread, meat -- right to the table, secure in my grip with those handles.
I'm buying a new one, not because there's anything wrong with the old one, but because I need two. I keep reaching for it when it's already in use! Can't recommend this thing enough, especially if you're hard on your tools like I am.
