Customer Review: Good for a short period - worth the couple bucks

Simple wire toy was a BIG HIT for the first week and then like most things, interest waned. Not the toys fault though! :o) After a couple days I attached it to the top of a scratching post with furniture pins so they actually use the post more now since they will wander by and bat at the wire briefly and then scratch. Probably like most toys they would rather I was the one wiggling it for them ALL THE TIME and that would peak their interest again. I would recommend getting one as long as you can do it for under $5.Customer Review: What a simple concept

A wire and paper rolled up tight. A happy cat on her back swatting away at the paper, over and over. That in essence is what you are getting.
Princess really like this. It has a mind of its own. She swats at it, and it keeps bouncing back. She swats at it again, and the bouncing repeats. Sometimes she jumps at it and bite it, and when she let it go, it continue to bounce. More swatting. It's really entertaining for her, and I enjoy watching her do tumbles and rolls. Absolutely recommended toy!

I have 4 cats and each one likes different toys. One cat loves to jump up for bouncy things and carry small toy mice. (I find the bathtub stopper in the strangest places!) One of my cats goes crazy for catnip while the others can take it or leave it. One loves to play with the trapped ball inside the donut track. But one cat goes absolutely crazy for the cat dancer - to the point of having to hide it from her. Even so, she figures out where I put it and goes shopping for it! It's a fantastic toy.Customer Review: So simple!!!!!!!! But so much fun!

I read the other reviews before buying this-- not like it was a big purchase- but in all reality we do not need more cat toys that are not being played with laying around!!
I have 2 older cats who get bored easily and will play longer with things that arent even toys-- wrappers-etc
Well immediately when this came out of the package they knew it was for them and they cannot get enough and even play with it by themselves-- wire and cardboard how simple!! but the cats sure do love it--

As others have said, this toy is simplicity itself: A few small cardboard cylinders attached to the end of a wire. And yet, the three cats whom I have had have all gone crazy for it. And don't cats often take pleasure in the simplest of things as opposed to more fancy things we humans design for them? This is right up that alley. It is so much fun to play with them with the Cat Dancer. My cats and I have a great interactive time with this on a daily basis. I highly recommend the Cat Dancer.
