This ice cube tray is great for making ice for parties/cocktails where you dont want little cubes to melt and water down. I would have preferred a more-square shape, but it's fine. It was hard to determine without dimensions or specifics on item description. The cubes come out fine, maybe you have to push them out through bottom, whatever. I used another giant cube mold (ball-shaped) at the same time and was never able to get them out. That was plastic. This works great
