Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Capresso 4440.90 3-pack Charcoal Water FiltersCustomer Review: they work fine as long as you prep them properly Summary: 4 Stars
I have always used the water filters and had no complaints. Just make sure you soak them for a few minutes and run a few cups of water (no coffee) through your coffee maker when you put a new one in. This will eliminate any stray charcoal in the first pot of coffee you brew with a new filter.
Customer Review: Great Water Filters Summary: 5 Stars
Actually, the coffee maker is superb. The water filters make the coffee taste so much better. This product from Amazon.com is more cost effective than buying at retail in Denver. The third package was essentially free, and the service was great - better than was expected.
Customer Review: Would not be without my charcoal water filters Summary: 5 Stars
These filters help improve the taste of my coffee and I would not think of drinking coffee with out them. They help to remove impurities in the water and give your coffee a much improved taste. I don't change them as often as needed but they still do the trick.
Customer Review: hey, it's a coffee filter Summary: 4 Stars
Man do I love my Capresso drip coffee maker. My Capresso needs filters. That's fine. I'd give it gold bullion if it asked...
Since they are not made of gold, these filters get a 4 for price being a bit too high.
Customer Review: using filters Summary: 4 Stars
I wasn't so sure I needed these Capresso water filters for my coffee maker since I use filtered water, but found that it does keep small grounds from seeping into the water. I just don't change them as often as they recommend.
