Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Can Ram - Aluminum Can CrusherCustomer Review: Sturdy Summary: 5 Stars
Lots of people have commented that this is plastic. I used one of the all-metal can crushers before I got this one. The welds and rivets all broke. This plastic one has a nice fat steel pin in the hinge. It has already crushed more cans than the metal one did before breaking, and as far as I can tell the plastic one is going to be able to crush a million more.
Customer Review: can crusher Summary: 1 Stars
This product is worthless. It is cheap plastic and could not crush itself....and when I tried to return it the company gave me such a hassle that it is simply not worth it. I will certainly never order anything from them again and I strongly urge everyone else to avoid them at all cost. I want to give this item no stars but am forced to give it a score.
Customer Review: This Can Crusher Is Fantastic Summary: 5 Stars
I love this Can Crusher! It is the second one I have had in the last 5 years. I wore out the first one after probably crushing many thousands of cans. We drink several cases of soft drinks per week and would always fill up our recycle bins before crushing. The hopper is great and I always use my left arm as part of my upper body excercise program.
Customer Review: Speedy Can Crusher Summary: 5 Stars
This product works very well and makes quick work of aluminum cans. The attached holding bin allows me to accumulate up to 10 cans and then in a few seconds they are crushed and automatically drop into the large bucket I have placed beneath the crusher. The only problem I have encountered is an occasional can will hang up in the holding bin.
Customer Review: Ignore the 1-star complainers Summary: 4 Stars
The last two cans do not feed properly. BIG DEAL!! What's so bad about having to adjust those cans? I'm collecting bags of cans from neighbors for our softball fundraiser. Stomping them was going to send me to the podiatrist!
BTW Red Bull cans have to be loaded manually due to thier odd height.
