Customer Review: Very good deal. Withstands wide temperature range

I can tell you without hesitation this is a good product and in this price range would be difficult to beat. In addition to this purchase, I have several of the top end Cambro products, the Camwear series. I use the Camwear for food storage - longer term, and I'm using this one (6-quart) for flour that will be used soon. This series is called, "Translucent Rounds."
First, the lids on my two containers fit very snugly and just right. Second, Cambro really produces some of the best food containers, period. You can do searches on the Internet to discover this. Their best products are square shaped because they sell to restaurants, and restaurants need to stack food containers. Squares stack better than rounds.
Third, this product withstands temperatures from -40 to 160 degrees F. While that doesn't approach the performance of Cambro's high end stuff, called Camwear, it's good. This product can experience fairly dramatic temperature differences and the lids should still seal tightly. After you try using this product, you might look into Camwear, which is far more substantial and also more upmarket.
