I got these as a little add on to get my total to $25 bucks to get free shipping, and man am I glad I did. These are not only beautiful looking measuring spoons, but they feel great in your hands. They have wide handles and are very sturdy. I used to use the cheap plastic ones, too.
Go ahead, spend the 8 bucks or whatever it is to get these, and you will look forward to measuring that 1/4 tsp. of salt with the spoon instead of a pinch!

Held together by a stainless-steel ring that easily snaps apart, these rounded spoons are heavier, sturdier, and more beautiful than your average measuring spoons. Each spoon is etched with its capacity and displays the Calphalon name on its broad handle. You can run the set through the dishwasher after use.
