Overall I have been quite pleased with my Calphalon Omlet Pan. It heats evenly, and the nonstick coating is excellent. The shape of the pan is designed for omelets, but I use the pan for a wide range of frying. My husband requested this brand and style of pan for Father's Day, so I complied. He loves it. However, if it weren't a gift, I'd never pay this much money for a skillet!!
