The trouble with this pot is that food eventually works its way between the glass lid and the lid's metal rim. Because of the lid's design, there's no way to remove this food, so it sits there, no doubt forming an excellent growth medium for bacteria. I ended up throwing the pot and lid out.Customer Review: nice pot
