The product is very good, the metal is a bit delicate in that it started developing what looked like rust spots, but a quick internet search revealed that all high end knives get this if you leave it wet, and especially with other metal touching it. A bit of comet and this went away. Otherwise perfectly happy with the set, only thing is that the LX-17 set is cheaper, comes with more pieces and depending on preference size of knives might be to more people's liking, not sure it matters since this doesn't seem to be available anymore. The block looks very good though, better than the LX-17.
