Customer Review: Very disapointing

When I received my pans I was delighted; they looked wonderful and appeared to be all the company claimed them to be. Although I scrupulously followed the manufacturers instructions for usage and cleaning, within a few weeks the non-stick surface had lifted from the most regularly used pans, rendering them almost useless. I was advised by the company that they could not honor the guarantee unless I returned the complete set for inspection. The told me that it would take several weeks before they could determine whether to replace the faulty goods. I explained that this would mean my having to purchase some other set of pans to use while mine were "away" with no guarantee that my old pans would be replaced. I had already paid a considerable amount of money for the pans and I was unwilling to pay for shipping and 'temporary' pans as well. I offered to send one pan for inspection but was informed , rather curtly, that if i did not comply with their policies there was nothing that i could do.I almost more disapointed with their lack of civility than their cookware. If i had wanted to buy pans which would have to be replaced in afew months I could have purchased a perfectly adequate set for around $50

As part of Calphalon's Commercial Nonstick line of cookware, all pieces are made of heavy-gauge aluminum that's uniformly thick across the bottom and sides, allowing for quick and even heat distribution. The exterior of these pans is nonporous and won?t chip, crack, or peel over time. The cookware?s interior has an advanced nonstick coating that is scratch-resistant (with the use of plastic or wooden utensils) and cleans easily. The patented cast stainless-steel handles are comfortable to grip and minimize heat transfer so they stay cool on the stovetop. Handles are held in place by three sturdy stainless-steel rivets.
