Customer Review: not the original dark cookie sheet

these cookie sheets are light gray metallic, not the original dark cookie sheets. a lot of the reviews here are talking about the dark pans, and i considered the reviews in making my purchase. i've had the original dark cookie sheets for 10 years and they are fantastic. i know that calphalon no longer makes thier bakeware with that dark finish, but use a light gray metallic coating that that sticks terribly ( i know from that bad experience of owning thier lt gray jelly roll pan that sticks and burns and the pan is ruined now- stained and scorched and doesn't cook evenly, not to mention it warps in the oven. my mother also warned me against buying these pans because she purchased calphalon's cookie sheet-the new gray one-and said cookies burned and stuck to them. i guess mother does know best :). i was hoping against hope that this product advertised as "collector's edition" was referring to the original bakeware with the dark coating, but i was wrong. it is the new line. i bought one set as a gift and one set for myself. i can't in good conscience give it to anyone as a gift or for any other reason, for that matter. they are definitely going back to amazon. please learn from my mistake and do not purchase these cookie sheets.
