I don't usually write reveiws, but I was so happy with this purchase that I wanted to write one for this item. If you are looking for a wood cutting board this is an excellent one to buy. I love the round shape and it is an awesome quality. It has rubber feet on the bottom that keep it up off the counter and the handles work great for lifting it. It has such a pretty wood grain to it that it looks nice sitting on the counter. A very solid board that will last forever. Shipping was fast even with the super saver option! A great shopping experience!
Description of Calphalon 15-Inch Round End-Grain Cutting Board
15-inch by 2-inch round end grain cutting boardAt 15 inches in diameter and 2 inches thick, this dense hardwood cutting board has enough weight to stay put on the counter during a multitude of chopping and cutting tasks. Like the best chopping blocks, this one features premium end-grain construction which lasts forever yet is easy on knives.
Two cut-outs on either side of the board allow hands to fit underneath for lifting, while four rubber feet underneath keep the board secure wherever it?s set. The round cutting board also makes an attractive serving platform for cheese, fruit, and deli meats. After each use, the board should be washed by hand with hot, soapy water and periodically rubbed with mineral oil.
