Easy to use, easy to clean, easy to store. Displays temp quickly. Remove the cord it's attached to or it will get very dirty very quickly. It also gets in the way when grilling, washing and storing. I put a bauble on the cord and wear it as a necklace. Very nice!Customer Review: Piece of Crud

The thermometer arrived with a dead battery. When we removed the battery, we noticed that the connectors weren't quite right. We put in a new battery and it worked ~ well, for a few seconds, anyway. :(
We're shipping it back to Amazon ~ no hassles!

It takes about 6 seconds for this thermometer to register the final temperature. That is fast enough for me. It is small, and convenient to use. Takes little space in a kitchen drawer. I have no use for the rope, as I don't wear this thing around my neck.Customer Review: Economically superb product!

I've always been leary of 'instant' anything, but this instant-read cooking tool is wonderful! I no longer over- or -undercook meats, and I find it useful when determining the needed temperature of candies and such. I strongly recommend it!Customer Review: Might be nice if it worked.....

I have had two of these thermometers. The first one I got from Amazon and it worked for about a week or so. I paid to ship it to CDN for warranty repair or replacement and they sent me a new one. It didn't work at all. I give up.
