Customer Review: I destroy timers regularly, but not this one...

Update: This timer has begun to occasionally act strange when setting it up. I still recommend it though. I've lowered the stars from five to four. My original review follows.
This is a great timer! I've had it for over six months now, and it has survived my very wet kitchen and bathroom very nicely. (Bathroom? Yes, I use it to time my tooth brushings - two minutes every morning and evening). It gets water splashed on it all the time, and it's never had a single problem.
I've gone through lots of kitchen timers before this - they get a little bit wet and stop working for a few days, if not forever.
I don't know why the other reviewer had problems with this timer - but give it a try! I certainly wouldn't submerge it in water (although who knows? it might survive). But it's definitely much more splash resistant than any other kitchen timer I've tried.
Some other advantages:
- It takes an AAA battery. Many kitchen timers take the more obscure, and more expensive lithium coin batteries.
- It counts up after the timer has gotten to zero. This tells you how long you've overcooked your cupcakes!
