Customer Review: Could have been better.
Summary: 3 Stars
It shows the temperature fine. The sensor is sensitive and you can see temperature creep up immediately as you open fridge door.
Minuses:
1. Lack of a magnet. To see the temperature you need this thermometer mounted to a door or a side of your fridge. Why couldn't designers integrate a magnet to hold it? Boggles my mind.
2. Wire is way too thick. About 3" of seal is open around the wire. Why couldn't they use a flat wire? Boggles my mind.
3. The third minus probably relates to a small fraction of sensors. The alarm on my sensor goes off every 10 minutes for short 5 seconds, even though the temperature shown is below the set point. Why? No idea, probably defective electronics inside. Whatever it is, makes it useless in terms of the alarm.
